Arkansas native earns $100,000 “Living the Dream” prize package

FLIPPIN, ARK. (April 29, 2015) Ranger angler Shawn Gordon saved his best day for last, bringing 18 pounds, 10 ounces to the weigh-in stand on the third and final day of the 2015 The Bass Federation (TBF) National Championship. His three-day total of 50 pounds, 2 ounces on Oklahoma’s Grand Lake not only brought him the tournament win but it also ensures Gordon the chance at even more tournament paydays in the coming year. OKLAHOMA’S GRAND LAKE O’ THE CHEROKEES TO HOST DUAL EVENT OF NORTH AMERICA’S BEST GRASSROOTS ANGLERS

(Sept 25, 2014) – The Bass Federation, FLW and the Student Angler Federation announced today that the Grand Lake Association and Grove, Okla., will host the TBF Federation National Championship for a third consecutive year. Wilson Lake Locals Claim 5 of the 6 State Team Positions

The Bass Federation of Kansas (TBFKS) (www.tbfks.com) held it State Team Summer Qualifying Tournament out of Wilson State Park. The 2015 State Team is being qualified differently than in years past to accommodate more of our members and provide an additional opportunity to qualify. TBFKS is holding a summer tournament and a spring tournament. Each tournament will qualify 6 team members. Those anglers who fished Wilson will have the opportunity to fish Lake Mozingo also. The alternate will be decided by the heaviest combined weight of the two tournaments of those who do not qualify as a boater or non-boater.
